"Rock the Soak" UPDATE

I've been using cloth for about 3 months now. I am using Country Save and up until recently have had no problems. But now I am noticing my diapers aren't smelling fresh and my LO is struggling with diaper rash on and off.

I think it's time to "ROCK the SOAK!"

I'm excited to see how well it works. I'm a Rockin' Green virgin!

Anyone have any advice? Helpful tips?

UPDATE:
Today I finally had the opportunity to do it. Since I have a front loader I chose to soak my dipes in the tub. I let them soak for about 3 hours.

Sure enough, they smell a lot better! Not even a hint of the pee smell!

Now I'm curious to see if it makes a difference for my little one's bum rashes.

My "new" Diaper Sprayer

My wonderful friend Heidi just gave me the diaper sprayer she no longer uses. I am so excited to try it out!

My LO is EBF right now but I think I may have to get it all hooked up and give it a whirl anyhow.

How many of you still use the sprayer, or dunk, with EBF baby britches?

My Obsession, My Passion

I have recently switched from disposable to cloth diapers. In fact it was only in March of 2010 that the change happened. In this short amount of time I have gone from being clueless and ignorant about cloth to being very passionate and borderline obsessive about it.

I have been spending a lot of time on the internet researching various aspects of cloth diapering. I'm reading blogs related to the topic and I'm spending much of my time thinking about it in general. I'm not exactly sure where this will take me but I suppose it is a leap of faith. If I were to dream big, I'd say that one day I would love to have a store, where I could not only sell cloth diapers and all the accessories that go with them, but also promote healthy and natural parenting in general.

It's a big deal for me to put that in writing. A big deal because I have a huge fear of failure. Starting a business is not something I have really ever wanted to do mostly due to the intimidation factor. I am very good at what my husband calls, "head trash." I can talk myself out of just about anything. For example, as I am typing I have already thought, "There are already too many online cloth diaper stores and blogs, why should I start another one?" Or, "What happens when my little ones grow out of cloth, then what do I blog about?"

Well, instead of looking too far ahead and psyching myself out I am going to take a baby step and at least choose a direction. I'm going to go out on a limb and unleash my passion into the blogosphere and see what comes of it.
